Terms and Conditions

The SANCYFUR is an association law 1901 which organizes the event of the CANTHROFUR taking the aspect of a demonstration.

Users concern anyone browsing our site free of charge and anonymously. They are not required to be registered on the site. 

The member is designated as an individual browsing our site free of charge, anonymously and by being registered on the site. It includes the person who ordered natural goods delivered to the home of the member who placed the order. 

The Participant is a member who has confirmed his attendance at the event and has paid the entire invoice. The participant must be of legal age.

The goods are the physical goods for sale on the CANTHROFUR event site.

The Services mentioned in these terms of CANTHROFUR mainly concern the offer of accommodation in a Residence Hotel, meals and all offers of services included in the residence.

I- Preface

The conditions listed are addressed directly to the consumer with all the legal capacities of his country of residence.
Here, the contract is subject to French law.
For any dispute arising in the context of the application or interpretation of the contract presented opposite will initially be subject to an amicable solution. In case of prosecution, it will be submitted to the competent French court.

The general conditions of Sale and Use are intended to define the different conditions under which SANCYFUR can provide services to users through the CANTHROFUR event. All users of the services presented by SANCYFUR must comply with these general conditions of sale and use.

Any general structure as well as the texts, graphic elements, images, sounds or videos that make up the CANTHROFUR event are the property of it or its partners.
According to article L335-2 "any edition of writings, musical composition, drawing, painting or any other production, printed or engraved in whole or in part, in defiance of the laws and regulations relating to the property of the authors, is an infringement and any counterfeit is a crime" and may therefore face legal proceedings.

Participants of the event will have access to all specific public areas and free of charge, however CANTHROFUR reserves the right to modify the general conditions.

If one or more conditions of sale and use were to be annulled or declared illegal by the French courts, this nullity or illegality will have no consequence on the other clauses / rules.

II- Intellectual Property Law

As previously said in article L335-2 "any edition of writings, musical composition, drawing, painting or any other production, printed or engraved in whole or in part, in defiance of the laws and regulations relating to the property of the authors, is an infringement and any counterfeit is a crime" and may therefore face legal proceedings.
Participants and users acknowledge that SANCYFUR is the owner of the Intellectual Property Rights of all the services provided.
No clause of the general conditions of sale and use can be interpreted as entitling a third party to a license to the exclusive exploitation rights.
For any production, manufacture or sale of goods related to CANTHROFUR (badge, stickers, strap or drawing with the logo of the canthrofur), SANCYFUR guarantees to have all the necessary rights and to be the owner of the intellectual property rights relating to the goods produced as long as it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of a third party.
SANCYFUR reserves the right to assign the intellectual property right to all designers, craftsmen or subcontractors who have collaborated in one of the stages of production of these goods (design, manufacture, realization, sale).

III- General conditions of sale and use.

Any user at the event declares on his honor to have taken full knowledge of the general conditions of sale and use on the day of access to the CANTHROFUR website.
However, SANCYFUR may update the general conditions of sale and use, so we strongly advise users, members and participants to consult the most recent version of the general conditions of sale and use.

The user acknowledges that he must exercise discernment in the use of the content and bear all the risks associated with it, in particular when relying on the topicality, usefulness or completeness of this content, and carries out any verification under his responsibility.

IV- Archive and access to the contract

When validating an order defined a total acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale and Use and its payment.
The various data recorded during the order constitute all the proofs of the transactions made between the association and the members.

V- Liability

In accordance with Article L. 221-15 of the Consumer Code, SANCYFUR is automatically liable to the consumer for the proper performance of the obligations resulting from the contract concluded at a distance, whether these obligations are performed by the professional who concluded this contract or by other service providers, without prejudice to his right of recourse against them.
However, he may exonerate himself from all or part of his liability by providing proof that the non-performance or poor performance of the contract is attributable either to the consumer, or to the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the contract, or to a case of force majeure.

VI- Generality

The MEMBER undertakes to have full legal capacity to undertake under these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use and to conclude contracts in order to obtain the status of PARTICIPANT.

SANCYFUR undertakes to be in full legal capacity to undertake under these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use in order to conclude contracts and also undertakes to comply with the laws and regulations in force relating to its activity.

SANCYFUR undertakes to provide accurate and complete information as to the identity of its legal representative (contact details defining surname, first name, email address, postal address and activity).
The MEMBER undertakes to provide accurate and complete information on his identity and contact details (surname, first name, e-mail address and postal address) but also to update this information if it were to change.
The MEMBER expressly acknowledges and accepts that his email address will be used for any exchange of information, conclusion and execution of contracts with SANCYFUR. For this reason, he undertakes to provide an effective e-mail address and to check his e-mail box regularly throughout the conclusion and execution of said contracts.

SANCYFUR undertakes to provide delivery times for goods and services electronically in accordance with Article L.111-1 of the Consumer Code and undertakes to provide information to the member by e-mail.

When registering for the event, the MEMBER will receive a unique registration number that cannot be modified. This number is used to identify the PARTICIPANT and to access the details of his order. They also make it possible to carry out checks at the place of the event, to ensure their access to the event and to hand over the goods or services purchased. The PARTICIPANT must therefore be in possession of an official identity document, valid and with photo (identity card, passport, driving license or residence card) to present to the SANCYFUR registration team.

The acquisition of a ticket implies adherence to the internal rules of the ticket office of the event. The PARTICIPANT will strictly respect the rules of SANCYFUR as well as its General Conditions of Use under penalty of engaging his responsibility.

There may be information on the CANTHROFUR website that may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. These can be linked to product descriptions, prices, promotions, offers, fees and availability. Then SANCYFUR reserves the right to correct any error, inaccuracy, omission, and to modify or update the information or cancel the orders.

You agree to indemnify, defend and protect SANCYFUR, its partners, officers, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers and members, with respect to any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your violation of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use or the documents to which they refer, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

VII- Personal Data

Personal information is defined, as specified in Article 4 of Law No. 72-17 of 06/01/1978 "all information allows directly or indirectly the identification of a natural person to whom it applies"

In FRANCE, they are protected by Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.

In accordance with the provisions of articles 38 and following of the law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, any USER has a right of access, rectification and opposition to personal data concerning him, by making his written and signed request, accompanied by a copy of the identity document with signature of the holder of the document, specifying the address to which the reply is to be sent.

Databases are protected by the provisions of the Act of 1 July 1998 transposing Directive 96/9 of 11 March 1996 on the legal protection of databases.

SANCYFUR undertakes not to use the personal data of members and participants for anything other than the processing of the order with our direct partners, invoicing and relationship monitoring.

VIII- Pricing/tariff and after-sales service

The products and services offered for sale are presented on the website (https://www.canthrofur.org/registration ) in Euro (€) including VAT, however other taxes may be applicable on the day of the order (a change in VAT rate will have a direct impact on the price of the products and services).

Prices may vary depending on the time without notice but will be announced in advance, it is up to the USER to follow the news of the site. No discount request will be granted once the price has been reassessed (does not apply to MEMBERS and PARTICIPANTS who have already paid for all or part of their current order at the time of the revaluation).

The price of the outing to the ski resort is included in the general price of the convention and cannot be subtracted from the total sum. No refund, total or partial, will be granted to the member who does not perform all the activities. For any request regarding after-sales service, please send an e-mail to: [email protected]

IX- Order

As part of the purchase of a ticket for the CANTHROFUR event, once all payments have been made and validated by the permanent members of the SANCYFUR staff, the member will temporarily become a member of the SANCYFUR association at the event venue throughout its duration, which will allow him to benefit from all the private advantages of the event.

To order a ticket to participate in the event, the Member must make an online request, fill in the registration form (following which a validation by the staff is necessary to verify the various information). Then the member will have to choose the different items to add to the basket, validate it and then finalize the order by bank payment.
Once the balance of the order has been paid, the member will receive a detailed invoice by email as well as his confirmation of participation.

SANCYFUR undertakes to honor any order within the period of realization of the goods and services ordered that it has provided.
However, if the request presents anomalies, the SANCYFUR teams reserve the right to refuse the order.

For any problems arising on a part of the goods and services desired by the member, alternative solutions will be proposed to him.

X-Payment and Right of Withdrawal

Payment by the member is made on the site by credit card. Upon payment, the member acknowledges and agrees that the payment will be made as follows:

• By credit card, the full amount must be paid within 14 days, after which the basket resets
• For bank transfers, the member can pay the full amount in one go after registration. (The rib will be provided on the site or by email at the exclusive request of the member)

The member acknowledges accepting that the validation of the payment constitutes a payment order.

According to Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, we may refuse any claim for reimbursement concerning the services "Of provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, transport services of goods, car rentals, catering or leisure activities that must be provided on a specified date or period".

You can request a refund within 14 days of your first payment. This refund is partial and will be returned to you as soon as possible. Once the 14 days have passed, no refunds will be possible.

A list of information will then be requested by email. If within the 14-day period any information is missing, no refund will be given.

With regard to the refund request period, the participant at the time of finalization of the payment, certifies that he has up to 60 days before the event for any refund request.

XI- Terms of reimbursement

As said before, you can within 14 days after your first payment request a refund. You have up to 60 days before the event to request a refund. This total or partial refund will be made as soon as possible after your request.

For purchases related to the Canthrofur event, costs related to expenses with our partners will be charged to the refund.

After the 14-day period, no refund will be made.

In case of cancellation of the event, you have up to 2 months after cancellation for any refund request, it should be accompanied by an up-to-date and valid bank proof of identity, your identity card being validated and the pseudonym used during registration to facilitate the refund procedures.

Any missing element will result in a refusal of your request. However, you can return the missing supporting documents by email.
